At some point or another, we’ve probably all had periods of poor sleep. The cause may be environmental (ex. stressful work situations), hormonal (ex. the menopause transition), related to an underlying mental health condition (ex. anxiety), or any combination of factors. It can be so frustrating because the impact is far-reaching, potentially affecting relationships, work performance, lifestyle, health – you name it. Medication may or may not help, and not everyone wants to medicate.

Did you know that now, people can use a non-invasive and drug-free therapy to sleep better?

Exomind TMS is optimized TMS, which stands for transcranial magnetic stimulation. It may be best known as an effective therapy for medication-resistant depression. In general, Exomind TMS improves on traditional TMS by delivering results faster and in fewer treatments. It can also help with a broader range of mental health and wellness conditions, including insomnia and disrupted sleep.

Catherine CrosbieOne of the first things I did when we got Exomind TMS is try the therapy on myself. As I was doing my treatment plan, the first thing I noticed was improved mental clarity. My brain felt like it was working more efficiently and I was able to do more in less time.

The second thing I noticed was improved emotional balance. For example, when my little kids have meltdowns, I’m better able to deal with the situations calmly, which makes me feel like a better mom.

The third and most valuable thing I noticed was better sleep. I’ve had insomnia off and on since at least 2013. Now, I’m able to fall asleep more easily when I go to bed. If my kids wake me up at night, I can get back to sleep easily, and I don’t wake up at night anymore for no reason. My sleep feels deeply restorative, and I can’t remember the last time I felt this rested.

Here’s another benefit… I’ve had agonizing TMJ dysfunction for almost 15 years. On a bad day, my jaw pain can be debilitating. Because I’m sleeping better, the overall intensity of my pain has gone way down. I can honestly say that in the past week, I haven’t had any pain at all, which hasn’t happened in a long time.

Overall, my Exomind TMS experience has been impressive.
