About TMS
TMS stands for transcranial magnetic stimulation. This non-invasive treatment uses gentle magnetic energy to stimulate neurons in the brain to improve mental health. After stimulation, neurons reorganize to create more optimal brain circuits.
TMS is often more effective than medication and has an excellent safety profile. It even avoids common side effects of medication, including weight gain and sexual dysfunction symptoms. Now that we have your attention, let’s talk about the new and improved TMS and several stories of mental health recovery.
Exomind TMS at Body Works
While TMS has most often been used as a treatment for depression, emerging research with a newer version of TMS called Exomind is proving helpful for many health and wellness indications. These indications include depression, anxiety, binge-eating disorder, PTSD, chronic post-concussive symptoms, OCD, ADHD, migraines, fibromyalgia pain, brain fog, loss of mental sharpness, chronic stress and burnout, and even insomnia. In addition to the research, clinical results are proving impressive.
Below are some of the comments we’ve received from our patients about their mental health recovery in the last year.
“I was apprehensive to try Exomind, but I’m so glad I did. Treatments were easy to do and I’ve never felt better.” – L.T.
“I have tried everything to improve sleep and brain fog. Since doing Exomind sessions, I cannot believe the improvements in both sleep and brain fog. Incredible and THANK YOU!!!” – A.M.
“I was having problems getting a good night’s sleep and was often tired during the day. I’d heard that the Exomind (optimized TMS) could help, and it did. For the first time in years, I’m feeling rested and energetic. Money well spent!” – Tim
Exomind improves on traditional TMS in other ways. Treatments are comfortable and offered on more convenient schedules. Also, treatment plans are usually shorter with as few as six treatments and they generate results faster.
Exomind TMS is even catching on with celebrities. At Body Works, we like to say that Exomind is powerful enough to change the brain and convenient enough to fit into real life. Every Exomind patient is under the supervision and care of a psychiatrist so that we can give them the best care during their journey to mental health recovery.
Patient stories about mental health recovery
People do Exomind TMS for various reasons. Patients who’ve had life-long struggles do this therapy to improve their daily function and quality of life. Patients who’ve encountered situational challenges such as a family crisis do it to help them cope and stay resilient during a hard time. It’s also proving quite helpful for peri and post-menopausal women in particular. Even women on HRT may still have brain fog and anxiety, so Exomind TMS typically helps with that.
