As the newest generation of the tried-and-true Exilis technology, the Exilis Ultra device is delivering satisfaction worldwide. When we use Exilis Ultra on the face and neck, we call it the Exilis Ultra Facelift. This series of treatments restores a more youthful appearance.

The Exilis Ultra Facelift improves skin laxity, smooths fine lines, lessens wrinkles, and improves dark circles. With increased volume in the skin, tighter skin, smoother texture, and more even skin tone, the result is a completely natural, more youthful appearance for longer.

Unlike injectable neuromodulators and other cosmetic procedures, Exilis Ultra stimulates new collagen and elastin production, thereby improving skin quality. While it is a great alternative to injectables, you can also use it to compliment the effect of injectables.

Clinical studies using Exilis Ultra show a 42% reduction in wrinkles, 2.9 times increase in collagen which is the protein in our skin responsible for elasticity, and a 19% increase in skin density.

The Exilis Ultra Facelift generally involves a series of 6 treatments on the face and neck. During the initial consultation, we’ll examine your skin to make a recommendation. We book these treatments anywhere from 2 to 4 weeks apart, depending on the condition of your skin.

For Exilis Ultra on the face and neck, we use a small handpiece that delivers radio frequency and ultrasound energies. The radio frequency (RF) energy triggers most of the resulting benefits, while the ultrasound energy helps the RF penetrate faster and deeper.

Together, these energies stimulate collagen and elastin production to improve skin quality. Tissues improve such that the face and neck become visibly firmer and smoother. Exilis Ultra also helps to drain any fluid build-up under the eyes and thicken the skin, which can improve the appearance of eye bags and dark circles, as well as age spots.

Many people see a difference in their skin after their first treatment. Often, it takes a couple of treatments before there’s a noticeable difference because the effect is cumulative. While we almost always see changes during the treatment plan, we see final results 3 months after you complete the treatment plan. We invite you back for a 3-month follow-up appointment to evaluate your final results.

Clinical studies show that results from the Exilis Ultra Facelift last anywhere from 3 months to 2 years. Most people are somewhere in between. After you’ve completed your initial treatment plan, we recommend doing a single treatment on the face and neck every 3 or so months to maintain the results of your investment.

Before starting your Exilis Ultra Facelift, you’ll want to be well-hydrated. This will make you more comfortable during treatments and optimize your results. We’ll talk about hydration during the initial consultation.

Once you enter the treatment room, we’ll ask you to remove electronics and metal jewelry from your body. It’s best if you show up to your treatment appointment without makeup, creams, or other products on your skin. If that’s not possible, we’ll remove your makeup in the treatment room. We take photos before every treatment so that we can track your progress.

While you’re lying down, we apply ultrasound gel to the face and neck to proceed with treatment. Once the handpiece is on your skin, you’ll feel a warm rollerball-like sensation. Most people find this very comfortable and even relaxing. We move the handpiece around your face and neck in particular motions to optimize your results.

Most of the time, it takes about 1 hour to complete an Exilis Ultra treatment on the face and neck. Sometimes it takes closer to 1.5 hours. The time it takes depends on how your skin responds to treatment.

We expect your skin to turn a bit pink during treatment. This colour is usually gone before you leave the clinic, if not before you leave the treatment room. You can resume your usual activities immediately after treatment.

Since Exilis Ultra is a multi-purpose tool, we can use it from head to toe to tighten skin and even reduce fat in areas that are difficult to address with diet and exercise.

Clients who do the Exilis Ultra Facelift are often also interested in treating another area of their body. Popular “add-ons” include skin tightening on the chest, skin tightening on the upper arms, and skin tightening on the hands. We can do skin tightening with Exilis Ultra practically anywhere on the body.

We use different settings on the Exilis Ultra device to achieve fat reduction. For example, it’s popular to address volume under the chin, “bra fat”, under the bum a.k.a. the “banana roll”, and other places. Again, we can use Exilis Ultra for permanent fat reduction almost anywhere on the body. It’s also important to note that unlike many non-invasive body contouring procedures, fat reduction from Exilis Ultra is permanent. Yippee!
