They’re also both non-invasive with no downtime, so they fit into schedules fairly conveniently. When considering which face treatment to get, please note that we can perform both Exilis Ultra and Laser treatments at any time of year, but you must be careful with Laser treatments during the sunnier months. Unless you’re diligent about applying and re-applying SPF during the summer (you should be doing this all year round anyway!), we don’t recommend doing Laser treatments during the summer.
Exilis Ultra Face Treatments
Providers often refer to Exilis Ultra as a skin tightening device, but there’s more to it than that. Exilis Ultra uses a combination of radiofrequency heat and ultrasound energy. The ultrasound energy helps the radiofrequency heat penetrate the deeper layers of skin, while the radiofrequency heat generates new collagen and elastin in the skin. These proteins are necessary for structure and elasticity, so after a series of treatments, the new collagen and elastin production creates a youthful volume in the skin, smooths fine lines, de-puffs the eyes, and improves facial contours.
